The Law & Justice Foundation Research Centre (LJRC) projects
address to significant -often controversial - justice issues, where
results make a substantial contribution to the policy development
and law reform, in India.
The LJRC research projects are an independent public interest
research organisation. Its research is influential because of its
quality and objectivity.
Core funding will be received from the LJRC , but the Centre
will in depend on support from other sources. The Centre will actively
seek financial support from justice system `stakeholders` to whom
the work will have value because it will seek to improve policy
development and law reform outcomes.
The LJRC will, from time to time, receive grants and donations
from private sector organisations, international organisations.
However, the Centre will insist on autonomy over the scope and design
of projects and complete discretion over publication of results.
